Move Towards Your Goals With Clarity & Momentum With This Simple Principle
I often hear people say that they want more time, more space, more freedom. They feel the momentum towards their goals is blocked by the lack of these things, and that they are unable to access more of them.
What is it that’s standing in the way?
What is building barriers in front of us, rather than clearing the path forward?
You are, after all, the creator of your life.
You have the opportunity to see the possibility ahead of you and step towards it with an open mind and open heart. If you don’t like your life today, you have the power to change it tomorrow. Why then, is it so hard? To choose a different path, to take a different turn, to step into the unknown?
You are too busy thinking.
You are too busy in your thoughts, in judgment, in comparison - all of which do not serve you. Your ego has taken over and doesn’t want to give up its full time post creating doubt, fear, and uncertainty. All of which ultimately lead to disappointment. After all, your thoughts create your reality.

By connecting to how you want to feel and leading from your emotions, you remove the condition. You take away the when/then mindset.
When I buy a house, then I’ll feel grounded.
When I get the promotion, then I’ll feel happy.
When I get a date, then I’ll feel loved.
Sound familiar?
For many, this is how we’ve seen the world around us work and as a result, we’ve become accustomed to conditional living. We’ve internalized it as a way of life. When we have something, we will feel good. When we do something, we will feel better. But what if you already felt happy, excited, and joyful?
Would you experience life differently?
Stepping away from this way of thinking takes you out of being the victim. Instead of life happening to you, life is happening for you. From you. You are the creator of your life.
Start by connecting with your emotions and feeling them fully - and allow others to do the same.
Giving yourself permission to feel your emotions is a radical act. Many of us were raised to quiet our anger, our fear, and our sadness, but by allowing the full energy cycle of emotions to flow through you, they are held lightly, unable to take grip.
Identity where you feel emotions in your body.
Do your fingers tingle when you get excited? Notice where they are, how they feel, what feels good, and what doesn’t. I recently heard anxiety described as “excitement without breath”. Breathe into your emotions and see what feels different.
Separate your emotions from the emotions of others.
Emotions can be created by our responses and our experiences. Being aware of whether or not you are taking on the emotions of others can be liberating.
By bringing awareness to your emotions, you are levelling up your relationships, your experiences, your life. It is a practice. One that takes time and patience.
When you find yourself low, how do you go high?
Connect with your emotions.
Acknowledge the thought, drop into your soul, heart, sacred space, and connect with your emotions. Identify the positive emotions you want to feel. Load them up. Break the cycle of conditional living and move towards a life of possibility and creativity.
I feel grounded.
I feel happy.
I feel loved.
Lead from there. Lead from your emotions. Lead from your heart.
And see your world turn upside down.
